The best medditarian food I've enjoyed in oklahoma must come and eat here. Staff is very friendly. The food taste fresh I had the mixed grill plate with hashwa rice and taboli as my choices. The hashwa with the ground beef and pine nuts and almonds was excellent the lamb was very juicy and tender and the chicken was very juicy and excellent with the garlic sauce the kufta was also marinated very well. I had a great time with my family price is very reasonable for the amount of food and the pleasant experience you will have here. The feeling of it being a family restaraunt seeing them all work together makes the food more authentic. I recommend to all

Best middle eastern food, hands down! We ordered lamb chops, they just melted in my mouth !! Tubule and fattoush were also very fine. I highly recommend it!!!

Love this quaint Mediterranean spot! Ashley, the awesome sweet waiter, handles the entire dining room by herself! She remembers what my husband and I like to order from the menu everytime we come in! The food is always delicious. Reasonably priced. You will not be disappointed!

So glad to have another Greek place nearby! This little hidden gem had wonderful service. When little ethnic restaurants serve drinks by the can, I know the food will be pretty good. We ordered the appetizer sampler, a lamb kabob sandwich, and a gyro. The sampler is a wonderful item to try and I really enjoyed everything on it. The hummus especially is delicious. The pita bread here is out of this world. It's incredibly fluffy and fresh... I could happily eat a meal of just pita and hummus. The lamb kabob had very delicious and flavorful meat and the gyro was great as well. I look forward to coming back.

I will lead with, this is my favorite Mediterranean establishment in OKC. The food is fantastic. If I had to change anything, the gyro meat would be sliced thinner and cooked less and the tzatziki could be thicker. The venue is a little run down, I suppose you could call it a dive, but it's more like no effort was put into the atmosphere itself. Outside of that, it was perfect. Fantastic hummus, falafel, grape leaves, and baba ghanouj. My go to Mediterranean place in OKC!

I'm so glad to have been introduced to this restaurant! The space is small but cozy. There are a lot of things on the menu. I settled for a basic gyro sandwich and fries on my first visit. It was one of the best I've ever had! The gyro meat was covered in fresh tomatoes, green onions, and lettuce. Our waitress was a very sweet woman. I can't think of anything I didn't like here. Prices were not very expensive and you get a good amount of food for what you are paying. I heard it can get very crowded here so finding a place to sit might be a problem.

Food: I recommend the Gyros meat, Chicken Shawarma and Hummus. Both meats were the best of their kind I've tasted, period. Hummus was very good too. The Tabouli has very little bulgar wheat, which is integral to the dish in my opinion. Flavor was fine but I wouldn't order it again because without the bulgar, it was just too "grassy" texturally and taste-wise. Atmosphere: Small, cozy and clean. Not "fine dining" but very good food. Staff: Pleasant and helpful with recommendations and pronunciation of the menu items.

Small family owned place. Friendly staff, delicious food, and good prices. I tried the gyro plate first and was not disappointed. They will surely have my continued business.

We visited the other day. I ordered the appetizer sampler plate to give everything a shot. The hummus was good, as well as the babaganoush, and those little grape leaf items were good although quite tart. The service was also pretty good, and personable. We were asked which salad we wanted, as though it came with the entree, and it didn't, so watch out for that. We got that ultra finely chopped salad. It was so tart with lemon juice, it gave me those tongue bumps. The main entree we ordered consisted of three kebabs. The chicken was decent, but slightly over cooked. I think the other one was lamb, and it was tasty, but a little tough, and the third was that hamburger like mixed ground meat. That one was odd, and I wouldn't recommend it. It was surprisingly very hard to cut with a fork, like rubbery and spongey, and didn't taste like much of anything. Overall the restaurant was pretty good, and it was a fun experience, but not sure I would say it is better than Nunu's up the street, and the meat quality on the day I went was pretty middle of the road. I was more impressed with the appetizers.

Great food. Freshly prepared. Everything tasted great. I wasn't a fan of Turkish coffee but that's not a big deal. The tabouli doesn't seem to have any bulgar in it but it's real good. The naan/pita is soft and warmed up on the grill. You'll be fine, just go.

Small casual space with an old look and feel, and friendly staff. We took our daughters here and they scarfed the delicious hummus and warm, soft pita bread. My wife and I had gyros; a 'good portion of meat' is listed on the menu, and it was generous and savory, perfectly cooked. Kids had good cheeseburgers in pita, so there's something for everyone. We saw and smelled beautiful shawarma and kabobs go by while we are. We will go back and try the other options!

For the first time in my professional life, Yelp reviews let me down. Big time. I am a huge fan of Mediterranean food and eat it whenever and wherever I can, so when my boys and I came to OKC for a basketball tournament, the four- and five-star ratings nearly every reviewer gave to Camilya's left me with no choice. And I very nearly invited all the other families to join us. In retrospect, it's better that we didn't. The vegetarian grape leaves that everyone raves about tasted as if all they had in them was blandly seasoned, squishy eggplant. The tabbouleh was 90% parsley and tomato, with no detectable bulgur or cracked wheat or garlic or onion. And it was just swimming in lemon juice. The tomato was the consistency one would expect if it had been chopped 5 or 6 hours ago, translucent and mushy. My gyros were dry, and the tzatziki had little flavor other than the taste of straight yogurt. Garlic? Cucumber? Dill? Imperceptible. One other thing. If a cafe is going to put items on the menu to persuade skeptics to give non-American food a try, like for example a Philly cheesesteak on pita bread, there needs at least to be an effort at authenticity. Slapping two square slices of ordinary American cheese on some beef and microwaving it is not true effort, as my sons can testify. The hostess was as nice and efficient as advertised. But the food was not good.

Can't believe I hadn't heard more about this place. Honestly one of the better meals I've had lately. I'd never had Jordanian food and the friendly staff was more than willing to answer my questions. We'll be back... A lot...

I met some friends here for dinner on a trip in to OKC and, I have to say, it was fantastic. I'm Greek, born and bred, so I grew up with this style of food... and the fare at Camilya's is no joke. We ordered multiple appetizers and all were great... grape leaves, spanikopita, feta and pita... a wonderful mix. The grape leaves, especially. For the meal, I had the standard gyro plate and it was anything but standard. The lamb was fantastically juicy. If I were local, I'd be here three time a month easy. Our waitress, who I think owns the place, was also great. Easy 5 stars.

Service was great ! - friendly and attentive. Altogether it was a great social experience. But it did have sum flaws about the food. This was not authentic or even middle eastern at all. My father ordered hummus but got oily hummus with salsa - NOT AUTHENTIC (my farther grew up in Kurdistan). My order was flawed as well, I orders the chicken shawarma which is REALLY basic middle eastern dish that anyone can make. The dish contained very little chicken and had A LOT of oil. Altogether it was a good social experience but the food was not very good.

Camilya's is located in a little strip mall off Hefner & May Ave near another great place to eat (Inca Trail), this little place you might not notice at first glace but go inside and you will not be dissapointed! The cafe is small however it does have tables to sit & eat. When I first came here I ordered a gyro which was very good, but I also noticed they had a lot more on their menu than just gyros, they had kabobs and a whole assortment of mediterranean/persian/middle eastern type dishes! I came back a second time to this place and I originally wanted to try a kufta kabob (beef skewers) however I was told by the waitress lady that they were currently out, but that was no matter... i saw something that was possibly even better.... I centered on grape leaves and lamb! I promptly ordered the dishes. The dishes were brought out with a decent amount of time and all of the food was spectacular! The lamb was perfectly good and so was the grape leaves! One thing about this place as far as drinks go... if your ordering soda they only sell it by the can so bare that in mind, no fountain drinks All in all this place is a great place for Mediterranean food and dishes. Definently go check it out!

You ever eat too much, feel way too full, but keep eating because the food is so good? Yeah...I did. Their portions are large and the food is amazing. Some of the best hummus, grape leaves, and baba ghanouj I've ever had, and I've had a lot from all over the U.S. The staff were friendly and attentive. I'll be back- albeit, wearing elastic waisted pants.

This is my favorite place for Greek/Mediterranean food in Okc. Camilya's is not a place you want to miss if looking for something new and exciting in the city. Their hummus is great and blows away the hummus from other restaurants. It helps that their pita is fresh, warm and tender. I love their falafel and usually get the appetizer so I can arrange it how I like instead of getting the sandwich, but you really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Vegetarian friendly.

Small and hidden, but definitely a great dinner. The staff was friendly and the food was scrumptious. The appetizers were good, the meal was good and the prices were very fair. Would come back here again.

The most amazing Mediterranean food in this area. Everything is freshly made and just how my family prepared it. I will definitely be back.

I cannot say the food was bad but all the flavors of what we had were not what we are used to, so we were a little disappointed. The schwarma was ok but I have had better at other restaurants, same with the hummus and baba ghanoush. I would still recommend people try it, this restaurant may have the flavors you love!

Can't get enough of there baba and gyro meat! Come on! So good! Actually their vegetarian sampler gives you a great variety of all things holy goodness and there is something special about their gyro meat. Top 5 spots in town that comes to mind when ordering takeout. "Just straight bomb" says my man roommate! Always tastes fresh and made to order.

We used to live in Dubai, so from experiencing authentic Mediterranean/Middle Eastern cuisine firsthand, I'd say this place was on point! The spanakopita appetizer is a must - a flaky phyllo dough pastry stuffed with spinach and cheese. I also ordered the chicken shawarma, and it hit the spot! You can't leave without a little baklava for dessert.

Wow, the food here is amazing and reasonably priced. I know two people who have gone here hundreds of times, but even being a fan of Mediterranean food, I didn't think much of it. Yesterday, I went with them and liked it so much I went back today. I've eaten tons of Mediterranean food from various places, including one owned by a Greek family that my ex-girlfriend worked at. This means that I've eaten hundreds of meals of this sort. Camilya's is the best I've ever had. The place was jam-packed both times due to their quality of food, affordable pricing, and very limited seating. I've had the Chicken Shawarma, Gyro, Gyro Omelette, and the hummus. All of it was top notch. The hummus is unique and not generic at all. Even the presentation is good. It was the best looking Chicken Shawarma sandwich I've ever seen. It looked like something off of the Food Network. The two fanatics I went with wanted the Gyro Omelette without even looking at the menu. The server already knew what they wanted as well as their preferences. I had already had eggs earlier and a Gyro Omeletted sounded lame to me, but when their plates came out, I instantly regretted my decision. Anyway, I went back today and got it and it did not disappoint. The only reason I am not giving this place 5 stars is because it's tiny and in my two visits, it has taken 25-45 minutes to receive our food. Granted, I went at peak lunch hours both times. If they expand to a place double the size, will the same chefs be able to cook everything? It may not be so bad that it's a hole in the wall, if you have the time to wait.

This was our first time here and we were very pleased with everything we tried. I had the Kuftah Kabob plate served on a large bed of basmati rice pilaf. The kabob was made from angus beef and you get two beef skewers and a grilled vegetable skewer. The young gentleman who waited on us readily agreed to give me an all tomato skewer instead of the mixed vegetable, as that is what I love with my rice and they gave me four nicely grilled tomatoes. Yum. The rice was fragrant and delicious and the meat was well seasoned and tasty. It also comes with a small vinaigrette salad which my husband had and said was quite good. You can upgrade your salad to tabouleh or three other salads instead of the house salad including a Greek salad or fatoush for an additional $2.49. The tabouleh came on a separate plate and was a large portion. It was excellent made from the perfect combination of vegetables - spring onions, parsley, tomatoes and bulghar with just the right amount of lemon juice. My husband had the gyro plate with fries, not so Mediterranean but, very tasty none-the-less. We had appetizers as well. The spanakopita was so good. It was wonderfully crisp and airy filo dough on the outside filled with tender spinach and creamy cheese on the inside. We also shared an appetizer that was like two little meat filled pizzas. It was good too, but the three piece spanakopita was the best. They had canned beverages, so we thought no free refills, but we were wrong. No charge for our second can of diet coke. Nice. For dessert we each had a piece of baklava. It was a near perfect little square of nutty heaven, not overly sweet. Yes this place is in a strip mall, but it is very cozy inside with pretty little chandeliers. The chefs are a husband and wife team and their son was our very sweet waiter. There are only seven tables inside, but we got one of them on a Friday evening at 6:30. They also have a small patio where you can eat outdoors. You can bring your own wine with no corkage fee and they will even provide you with gold-rimmed stemmed wine glasses. My husband's extended family is part lebanese and greek and we are originally from Los Angeles where we have access to great Mediterranean food. This place was comparable to anything we have had in LA and much better than most. Needless to say we will be at their doorstep again in the near future.

Bad all the way around tonight. One server couldn't handle the 4 tables eating there. We ordered 2 sandwiches and 2 salads for the 4 of us. The sandwiches didn't come with fries or drinks as advertised on the sign outside, plus they came out 5 minutes before the next salad entree, followed 4 minutes later by the last salad. So yes, our dinners came out in 3 segments. If you're going to be open, be prepared to serve. Avoid this place and go to NuNu's on Memorial. It's not that the food is terrible- but if they don't care enough, why should we?

One of the best Mediterranean places I've ever been too! I absolutely love their falafel, spinach pie, hummus.... Among everything else. I will say they have some of the most delicious baklava I've had and I have been across the U.S. Highly recommend if you want a great lunch/dinner. It was a little more expensive than I do care for but the food, ambiance, and service make it well worth it! One of the best places in OKC!

I can't say enough about this wonderful place. The menu has such a wide array of middle eastern and Mediterranean dishes that I had to ask what country or region the cuisine hailed from. The chef, the father of the two waiters, is from Jordan, and does a wonderful job of bringing the regions' flavors and particular treats to your lucky middle American plate. Customer service is good. Friendly people. However, know going in that there is probably only one cook prepping all the food. You might not get your food out all at the same time. Just take in the joys of slow food and know that it's worth it. Now, for the food review: The zveeha, basically a small pizza appetizer with beef and spices and pine nuts, has such a savory dough and unique (yet not overpowering) flavor. The falafel is a bit small, but some of the best I've had in OKC. It's fresh and crispy on the outside, with a moist interior, served with a balancing tahini. The hummus is very creamy and perfect with paprika and olive oil topping. Plenty of hot and fresh pita is served alongside it. The combo plate with the kefta and chicken and veg was every bit amazing. The rice has parsley or seasoning which gives it depth. The chicken kebab must have had such a great marinade. The kefta, a type of middle eastern "meatball" of sorts in the shape of a sausage, was delicious as well. So excited to go back and try the cabbage rolls and other things we couldn't fit in this time!

Best Gyro in town! The appetizers are all delightful too, and the staff is more than willing to explain the menu or their favorites. Affordable lunch special. Limited seating.

Nice & pleasant surprise. Really good quality Mediterranean food. Good size portions on the Gyro dinner I had & good flavor. I also had the Meat Grape leaves... Phenomenal. They were out of the baklava for dessert (which is historically something I crave) but the date cake/cookie I got was super. Definitely worth trying.

The food here is nothing short of amazing, the owner is very sweet, the actual restaurant is nothing short of claustrophobic.

Very small and cozy little restaurant. Great selection of appetizers, I only wish that you could choose several of the items and make your own sampler as opposed to ordering individually. I ended up getting grape leaves with meat and some tabouli. These are staple items for a Mediterranean restaurant. The grape leaves had so little meat that it was hard to tell if there was any at all, but the flavor was okay. The tabouli had way too much parsley, but that's more of a personal preference for the parsley vs. wheat ratio. Maybe I'm just biased since I'm Lebanese and more accustomed to recipes being a little different... Overall it was a good experience.

Food: 5/5 Service: 3/5 Cleanliness: 3/5 Decor & Style: 2/5 The best tasting chicken and beef shawerma in OKC! Hummus is excellent is well. I've eaten quite of bit of mediterranean food throughout the US, and while i'm no connoisseur, this place would be on the top 5 in my list. Definitely worth it and glad it is in OKC. Service was a little slow, I think they're hurtin' for more employees. Even then it was not crowded. It's a very small place so it can get crowded. The place looked like a 70's/80's small restaurant. 2/5 for Decor & Style. While all the other features lack, the excellent tasting food will get me coming back here.

I am not sure why this place is not recognized as the best Mediterranean Food in OKC, because it simply is. It is made fresh, with fresh ingredients, and is consistently excellent. Their Baba Ganoush is delicious. Their Kebobs are cooked to perfection each time. While some of the other Med restaurants around town may do one or two things good, Camilya's does it all very good.

My heritage is Russian Mennonites who made the Oklahoma Land Run. We consider cream gravy to be a green vegetable. My culture is at least 180 degrees from Mediterranean culture, but through our travels to Greece, Turkey, and Israel, Mrs Eva and I have become lovers of Mediterranean food. I have been watching this place on Yelp and was impressed with the solid 5 star and great reviews. We were looking for lunch and I suggested we try it. Wow! All through our lunch, we were trying to figure out how soon we could get back for our next meal. I have never had such tabbouleh! The steak kabob sandwich had so much flavor, I had to lick the dripped juice from the foil wrapper. Mrs Eva had the chicken shawarma and it was phenomenal. We finished off with a couple of baklava. The service is wonderful and the place was interesting. Because of a communication mixup, we didn't get any hummus but we were so full we couldn't have eaten everything...plus that gives us an excuse to hurry back for round 2.

First visit, had baba ganoush which was good; not quite the recipe i like the most but good. At this point i can't recall if it was hot or cold. This means I'd order it again but maybe not a third time. The vegetarian grape leaves were small but tasty. A little tart. We could have them cold or warmed and I opted for warm. Liked them. The rices were good. I'm ordering the hashwa again tonight. It had ground meat in it, but i like the pine nuts and raisins being there because that's authentic and why I'm ordering again. We had the rice with Mediterranean spices also and it was fine. Neither of them had me dancing in my seat the way one place in Columbus OH made their rice and lamb dish, however. But i like this place and the people who own and run it. The tea is good, but i don't know how much I'm going to be charged for this very tiny cup, or if i get free refills. I may opt for take out again. Tonight is dine in. Tonight were trying lentil soup, their recipe for mujehjaa (lentils and rice dish i make at home) and spanokopita (also something i make ay home). My first fiance was Lebanese and his father had a restaurant in Saudi Arabia. My ex-husband also loved to cook. We liked to cook things at home as much as possible. For example, he did tandoori and sushi after learning how and buying the necessary coming implements. I can be a little tough on restaurants.

I can't possibly compete with Joe C.'s review. He also happens to be the one to have turned me on to this place. My first venture here included the company of Joe and Christina C.! We shared the Camilya's Sampler for an appetizer, which included vegetarian grape leaves, hummus, baba ghanouj, and falafel, along with pita bread. Our lovely server told us that it usually comes with enough pita for two people but she'd bring enough out for all four of us. Nice! The inside is tiny, but comfortable. It's a very cozy and personal feeling setting. Okay, okay, food time. Vegetarian grape leaves (5/5): I don't usually pass up meat, but I wanted this more than I did the grape leaves with meat. The vegetarian leaves are cooked with both olive oil AND lemon juice, whereas the meat is just the oil (likely because the lemon juice goes with the vegetables better). Inside are vegetables (I couldn't tell you what, sorry!) and rice and it's absolutely delicious! The lemon juice it's cooked in definitely is what makes it, in my opinion. Hummus (5/5): Ya know, I've never had BAD hummus. Maybe because the thought of bad hummus frightens me so I go to well spoken of places for it. But I have to say Camilya's has some stellar humMUST (yep)! Baba gahnouj (5/5): Excellent. There's just something about lemon juice and tahini that makes food amazing. I don't normally like eggplant, but when blended into a dish like this, I could eat it all daaaay. Falafel (5/5): Just some good ol' falafel. Pita bread (5/5): Warm, fluffy, fresh, plentiful. Lamb kabob sandwich (5/5): Mmm. Amazing meat! Juicy and flavorful. The green onions they use taste very fresh, and the sauce is delicious. Of course the pita is yummy, too! Definitely a go-to place for me.

Is it wrong to say that the best part of eating here was watching the music videos from Dubai? Let me say this also--the food is very good. But those videos were bananas. Ok--to the food--I got a mixed meat thing--it's been awhile since I ate there and since I am writing this--I really like the meat a lot. The hummus is okay. A little too much oil I thought. The rice wasn't great either. But the main crux of the dish was great. Would I venture this far to get that dish again? Maybe, I like Cous-Cous more personally and it's right down the straight. Honestly though, you exported those music videos--we would have less problems in that area of the world--also if we could stop with the dependence on oil--baby steps, people.

This is one of my favorite places to eat of all time! They are friendly, fast, and the food is amazing. We've had them cater at work occasionally and it's just as good! I have yet to try anything that I haven't liked. I recommend the tobouli and the lamb!

Camilya's sets in that rare area of restaurants that you could eat at everyday. This is a family restaurant with a wonderful family running it. Alex's ability to prepare anything from the middle east is a true talent. Many "Mediterranean" restaurants are so Americanized that the food produced is an incredibly poor facsimile to the authentic nature of the food and the culture. Alex makes everything from scratch, including the hummus. This is an authentically fresh restaurant that has never disappointed me. His attention to preparation detail and the blended balace of flavors is phenomenal. His lamb is perfect. Never dry, never gamey, always tender and moist. What makes this restaurant my favorite is Alex's pride and humility. He is truly a man that has made his dreams come true. Always a smile on his face and something funny to say, Alex is as hard working as he is humble. There is no better place to eat TRUE Middle Eastern food in OKC than Camilya's. When you go ask for Alex's special hummus. You won't be sorry. If you see me there, I will even buy you a hot tea. Enjoy.

Ridiculously good!! Haven't had authentic quality food of this caliber since I last ate at my Lebanese friends home in Pasadena CA. I travel for a living and Camilyas is on my list of stops from here on out. I'll be back frequently!

Bear with me on this setup: The best anthropological consensus indicates that approximately 110 billion people have ever lived. Of that 110 billion, I can say without a doubt that my life today is better than all but 60 million of them (if we're comparing their "peak quality of life" to my current quality of life).* So I'm in the top 0.1% in terms of historical life awesomeness (not saying I personally am awesome, just that I have an awesome existence). It's actually much better than 0.1%, but I can't quite do the math to figure out the exact percentage. With this level of life awesomeness, you'll perhaps forgive me if I can report that one of the great sources of tension in my marriage is the disagreement my wife and I have about eastern Mediterranean cuisine. My culinary horseshoe of love begins in southern Italy, runs up through Rome and Venice, curving northwest through Switzerland and Belgium, brushing France, and catching a lot of the UK and Scotland. From Scotland, it makes the transatlantic hop to the fisheries of Newfoundland, and proceeds down the Atlantic coast with stops in Boston, the Chesapeake Bay, North Carolina, and the Gulf Coast, before finishing up with some amazing Cajun cooking in New Orleans. Greek has never really done it for me (sorry, Dr. Papaioannou). My wife, on the other hand, simply cannot get enough Greek/Turkish/northern African cooking, and it's the sort of good-natured argument that might have to end with one of us being stabbed in the hand with a kabob skewer. Camilya's Mediterranean Cafe might be the first step of the healing process. We tried a wide variety of dishes, and lo and behold, I enjoyed every single one of them. This is NOT the terrible, bland, dry lamb and cloying, pasty sauce I remember from years ago! Falafel had deep, rich flavor; hummus was exceptional, with flavor that kicked in in stages so you had to pause and let it develop on the tongue; stuffed grape leaves were excellent (even better dipped in sauce). My lamb chops were perfectly cooked to a beautiful medium/medium-rare, with vermicelli rice and grilled vegetables. The only thing I couldn't finish was the baba ghannouj, not because it was bad but because it was simply too rich to finish eating it. My wife's beef/chicken skewers were also well cooked, though not quite as good as mine (hahaha). The price was right, as well; this is the best food you can expect for the prices they're charging. On top of that, service was perfect. The lady (girl? tough to tell age with the hijab, but she was young) was a rock star manager, taking care of the dining room, helping out on the grill, and being unfailingly friendly and welcoming. It was the best example of restaurant service and management I have seen in a long time, and I heard her speaking at least three languages fluently (English for me, Spanish for some of the kitchen staff, Turkish (I think) with the family). Beacoup bonus points, oui? So this kind of beat-up looking place in a strip mall on the northwest side might have turned me around on this kind of food. I have no doubt those more sophisticated could come in and pick this place apart, but I like this here food, and I'm going back. Plus,if this issue does get settled in my marriage, my essentially perfect life will get even perfecter. That's no small thing. * I know I don't have to spell this out, but I'll spell it out. Up until 100 years ago, average world life expectancy was 31 (fine, between 31-40 depending on which crazy-haired scientist you want to believe). At the very beginning of human history, large animals still had a 50-50 shot of winning when it was time to go hunting. Later, if you needed a C-section when it was time to give birth (or be born -- we males weren't exempt either), you didn't get surgery, you just died. Random infectious diseases would kill you for reasons you didn't understand, you'd be lucky to have enough protein to not suffer malnutrition ... in northern Europe, there was no real difference between "scurvy" and "winter." And even in our modern, enlightened world, I live in the U.S., and that's a whole 'nother level of security, wealth, and opportunity.

Oh. My. Lord. The Chicken Tawook with Hashwa and the Fresh Strawberry Banana smoothie are some of the best things I've ever tried. Everything here is really good, but those are outstanding. Love this place. The owner is really nice and they have live music some nights. Everything is very authentic and you get good size portions. The interior decor is nice; it's intimate but well lit and different from most Mediterranean places in that it doesn't have a lot of dark colors and themes. The hummus, pita, grape leaves, baba ganouj, and tabbouleh are all yummy, as well as the lamb chops and lamb shank entrees. Buy seriously, try the Chicken Tawook. It's divine!

Starting with the freshest and most delicious Hummus, followed by the best Lamb, Chicken & Vegetable Kabob in all of OKC, You have to come and enjoy the Mixed Grill Plate here! And adding a Tabouli Salad and the Baclava just makes for the perfect meal!

I love Camilya's! Mediterranean food is one of my favorites and Camilya's is better than most. The baba ghanoush is fantastic! The service is great, fairly fast and the food is always exactly as ordered!

Awesome food. I had the lamb kabob and Greek salad. Lamb was tender and excellently prepared. Cozy little cafe I will return to explore more menu options.

Our family loves Greek / Mediterranean food, and Camilya's has the best in Oklahoma City. The hummus is AMAZING, don't miss it. The baba ghanouj is very good also, but the hummus is better in my opinion. They have a great sampler appetizer plate with both, along with falafel and grape leaves. The gyros are outstanding, however my favorite is the lamb shank. Excellent flavor, it does not disappoint. If you love Mediterranean you have to eat here. Once you do, you'll be back!

Best Falafel sandwich in town!! You sometimes have to wait for a long time for the food to arrive since this is such a small restaurant, but just munch on their wonderful hummus and be patient; their food is well worth the wait. Love the family-business atmosphere. Each dish is fixed with such care.

I'm not super versed in Mediterranean food, but I sure like to eat. The baba ghanouj and hummus were excellent. Falafel was good, not great and the grape leaves the same. If I was in OKC longer I would certainly come back and try other items off the menu.

Camilya's is our other favorite medit cafe! The cool thing about this cafe and the other one that we love, they are both very different! The food is authentic, tasty, and fresh, and the owner himself is usually the one behind the grill. They are always very nice and welcoming. It's an extremely small dining room but I think that's part of what makes it nice. We always get the sampler and we are hooked on the baba ghanoush and the pita's are very soft and moist! I highly recommend!

We go here all the time to support the wonderful family that runs it. Amazing food, great service, good prices. Nothing else to say. Try the gyro platter.

I agree with Eric R completely. Ate lunch yesterday at Camilya's for the first time. Ordered the sampler and was delighted with the food. Delicious! I will definitely be returning.

Enjoyed every meal here. I would recommend the hummus, it is the best in town (to me).

Main courses are just OK, but appetizers and baklava are very good. We plan on going back just for appetizers and getting some baklava to go. Spanakopita and Baba Gannouj were done just right, and tasted just right. Lamb shank was just "eh", and can't remember what the wife had. Baklava has both walnuts and pistachios, if I remember right, and is very good, not too soggy or too dry. Turkish coffee was good, nice and thick. Was going to get a "new" special dessert they had on the menu (can't remember exactly what it was, some kind of flan or goat cheese, I think), but they had run out and it was only 2 PM on a Sat afternoon, which was fairly ridiculous.
